Beautiful crimson red peppers are deliciously sweet with a very thick-walled crisp flesh. Deeply-ribbed, bell-shaped fruit is about 2 1/2 in. tall and 4 in. wide with a slightly flattened shape. This kind of pepper is known as a topepo type in Italy, where it is enjoyed for its rich sweet flavor and juicy red flesh.
