Round Mauve #7442 (30 seeds)
This beautiful eggplant is spherical, about 4 in. across, with rosy lavender thin skin and a pure white interior. We love to cook with this variety as its size is ample without being overwhelming, and the flesh is mild and meaty with absolutely no trace of bitterness. Earliness and great productivity add to the attributes of this terrific eggplant. 65 days.
Satin Moon Hybrid #7815 (30 seeds) SOLD OUT
An improved version of Satin Beauty, this variety is a gorgeous purple-black, slightly fluted oval eggplant that is 6 to 8 inches long. Its firm, high-quality flesh is mild and flavorful and its shape lends itself to large, meaty slices for Italian eggplant dishes or cooking on the grill. Because of its very early maturity, it is well suited to growing in northern climates as well as warmer areas. 50 days.
Shikou Hybrid #7160 (30 seeds)
Slender Asian eggplant is 6 to 8 in. long and dark purple with a purple calyx to match. Very few seeds, tender skin, and white flesh make this eggplant easy to prepare. No peeling or salting is necessary and fruit can be easily sliced and sauteed, stir fried, or cooked on the grill. The Japanese word Shikou means “supreme” and we think that is a fitting name for this very high-quality eggplant. Medium-sized plants are quite productive. 70 days.
